Gap years students are competing with juniors who have support from their colleges. Therefore, Gap year students are at a serious disadvantage! Dr. Lowe's Gap year students are admitted to medical schools.
International (F-1) Students
F-1 Medical School Admissions Services: Dr. Lowe helps international students navigate the complex, challenging medical school admissions process. Please note: According to a 2023 AAMC report, of the 55,188 applicants to U.S. medical schools, 22,981 matriculated and just 287 were international/non-permanent resident (F-1) applicants. This is an acceptance rate of is 1.25 percent, compared to 42 percent for all matriculants. Also, less than a third of U.S. med schools even consider international applications.
